Darren Byrne is a PGA qualified Professional of nearly 15 years; he has a wealth of experience, having started and completed his training at Hermitage Golf Club. Before joining St.Margaret’s, Darren served as Head PGA Professional at Castleknock Golf Club and as Director of Golf at Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort, overseeing its transition from receivership to the thriving golf club it is today.
Shane Jenkinson is our teaching professional at St. Margaret’s, bringing nearly 10 years of coaching experience and expertise to the role. Shane began his career here at St. Margaret’s before becoming Head Teaching Professional at The Island Golf Club in 2022.One of the top playing and teaching pros in Ireland, he is highly regarded by his peers in the PGA ranks. Shane utilises the latest GC3 launch monitor to give expert coaching and to help his students get the most out of their game.
